Father's Day: In
1924, President Coolidge proclaimed the 3rd Sunday in June as
Father's Day. I am glad it was decided that fair was fair -
if we have a Mom's Day, certainly we need a Dad's Day! I don't
know about your Dad, but mine brushes off all thanks; he simply
won't let us tell him how wonderful we think he is. Thanks to this
holiday, at least once a year, he must tolerate our heartfelt
gratitude.
