US Presidents
The ancient Greeks loved heroes. The word "hero"
comes from the Greeks. In the United States, we honor several of our heroes
in February. One day in February was originally put aside to honor two of
our presidents with birthdays in February - George Washington and Abraham
Lincoln. This holiday has grown to include all our presidents. We call this
day Presidents' Day.
