For Kids - Ancient Roots, Free, Online, Interactive Games
The ancient Greeks loved heroes. The word "hero" comes from the Greeks. In the United States, we honor several of our heroes in February. Originally, one day each February was put aside to honor two of our presidents - George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. This holiday has grown to include all our presidents! Today, we call this day President's Day. It is celebrated each year on the third Monday in February.
